Important Announcement
Based on the concept "Libraries supporting the next 100 years as one of the top brands in Asia", the Central Library is one of the largest libraries in Japan where it will be possible to store about 3.5 million materials and centrally house the humanities and social sciences collections in the university libraries.
The new Library opened in 2018 and has an automated storage and retrieval system with a capacity to hold 1.5 million volumes, and an active learning space with movable tables and chairs which thus allows for flexible learning styles (for details).
