Books in open stacks are freely accessible.
Please contact us in advance when you are planning to visit department libraries. This makes you easier and smoother to find materials.
Borrowing
Those who create a library card are able to borrow books at:
Central Library
Scitech Library
Design Library
Chikushi Library
【NOTES】
※You can borrow up to 2 books for 2 weeks and no renewable.
※We may recall you before the due date when your borrowing items are needed by Kyushu University members.
※You will be billed the replacement cost when you lost or damage library items.
※You are not able to make requests to reserve or delivery library materials to any particular library.
Borrowing via public libraries in Fukuoka Prefecture, and Karatsu City Library in Saga Prefecture
You may borrow items owned at all Kyushu University libraries via your nearest public libraries in Fukuoka Prefecture.
Requests from Karatsu City Library are accepted at Central Library only.
Please ask these public libraries in advance.
Return
You can return items at any library. Use posts when libraries are closed.
- You are not able to borrow additional items if you have overdue items.
- As long as you have overdue items, your borrowing privilege is suspended.
- Returning via mail is forbidden.
