CiNii Research, launched in April 2021, is an academic information search service provided by the National Institute of Informatics (NII).
It allows users to cross-search various information on research activities, including research data, articles, books, doctoral dissertations, and project information.

This database is a consultation manual that includes "Dictionary of Today's Diseases", which provides diagnosis and treatment methods for 3,000 diseases, and "Dictionary of Today's Questionnaire/Diagnosis", which provides approaches to diagnosing 700 symptoms and findings. It also provides information on all prescription drugs (12,000 drugs).

Kanji Character-Japanese Dictionary (大漢和辞典), published by Taishukan Shoten, is a Chinese/Japanese dictionary containing 50,000 parent characters and 530,000 idioms, based on research from ancient and modern dictionaries and literature.

Not only can you search by directly inputting a kanji, but you can also use searches by radical, stroke count, and reading, as well as part searches, which are useful when you don't know the reading or radical.

The collection contains approximately 450 autographs of more than 60 modern literature writers from the Meiji period to the early postwar period, which are held by the Kyoshi Memorial Literature Museum.
