Renovation

The Medical Library underwent renovations beginning in June 2021 to improve aging facilities and enhance functionality, and had its grand opening on October 6, 2022.

Entrance Hall	Browsing Room
Louvers extend impressively from the entrance. The circulation desk has the warmth of wood.	In this room, you can relax, read, eat and drink. Newly furnished desks and chairs create a calm, café-like atmosphere.

Active Learning Room	Bookshelves
You can converse and learn in this room. Box seats, movable desks and chairs, elevated desks, and seminar space are available for a variety of learning styles.	These shelves hold frequently used study books. Corner books for national examinations and reference books are also available.

Exhibition Room
The unique collection will be displayed with explanations. You can also view materials related to the history of the hospital campus.

Study and Reading Room	Group Study Rooms
This room is suitable for long hours of study. Newly furnished desks and chairs are comfortable for 24-hour use.	There are four group study rooms available for study and discussion by several people. Please make a reservation in advance through the website.

Individual Research Rooms	Bookshelves:2-A,2-B
Newly equipped with individual research rooms for study and web conferencing. Please make a reservation in advance through the website.	The bookshelves house a collection of approximately 400,000 books. Japanese and Foreign journals (A-K) are available on the 2nd floor.

Study and Reading Room	Bookshelves:3-A,3-B
This spacious study and reading room is open during periods of high usage, such as before regular examinations or national examinations.	Foreign journals (J-Z) and books are located on the 3rd floor. Search terminals are available at various locations.
