New learning material on research data management is now available
Division of Research Data Service, Data-Driven Innovation Initiative released a new learning material on research data management.
It explains why proper research data management is necessary and what is expected to researchers, with examples and tips in a laboratory setting. Japanese version is also available.
Support for the Article Processing Charge (APC) in Wiley and RSC
Kyushu University entered into transformative agreements which cover access to e-journals and open access publishing fee, or article processing charge (APC), with Wiley and Royal Society of Chemistry(RSC).
As a result, as of January 2024, authors affiliated with the Kyushu University is able to publish articles in hybrid OA journals from these publishers as OA by paying 30% of the APC list price.

Kyushu University Library has published the second edition of Kyushu University Rare Books & Special Collections.
The booklet is available at each campus library, and a PDF version is also available on the web.
Some of the published images are newly available in the Kyushu University Collections.
Kyushu University Research Data Management System “QRDM” is now accessible!
Our Data-Driven Innovation Initiative has launched the provision of research data management storage system called “QRDM”.
This on-premises storage system has been specifically designed to facilitate the storage and sharing of research data by our university's faculty members.
