In 2020, Kyushu University launched the Kyushu University Dr. Nakamura Tetsu Project: Passing on the Spirit of Dr. Nakamura to the Next Generation. The project has been promoted in cooperation with inside and outside the university. Kyushu Asahi Broadcasting Co.,Ltd., endorsed the project and provided 3 KBC documentary video works free of charge to the Kyushu University Library as video content for use for educational and research purposes.

Prior to the start of this loan, a presentation ceremony was held on 4 April 2023, at the Dr. Nakamura Tetsu Memorial Archive located in Sky Cute.Commons on the fourth floor of the Central Library. 
     Mr.Usui, Director of the KBC's News and Information Bureau, who had covered Dr. Nakamura for many years and was involved in the production of the program, gave an introduction to the video and presented a catalogue of them to professor Taniguchi Vice-President of Kyushu University and Director General of its Libraries.

We hope that as many people as possible will watch the DVD. We intend to continue to deepen and enrich our activities to pass on Dr. Nakamura's will and work to the next generation.

The Kyushu University Dr. Nakamura Tetsu Project: Passing on the Spirit of Dr. Nakamura to the Next Generation
The late Dr. Nakamura Tetsu (1946-2019), University Professor of the Institute for Advanced Study at Kyushu University and an alumnus of the Kyushu University School of Medicine, dedicated 35 years of his life to medical care, irrigation, and agriculture in rural Afghanistan and Pakistan. To share his spirit, resolve, and work with future generations, Kyushu University launched a project in 2020. In cooperation with the Peshawar-kai, the  Japanese NGO that supports Dr. Nakamura and his team’s work in Afghanistan and Pakistan, and also in cooperation with inside and outside the university, the project is being promoted through three core initiatives: Dr. Nakamura Tetsu Memorial Archive, the Nakamura Tetsu Digital Archive and the Nakamura Tetsu Memorial Lecture Series.
