All back issues of "Geijutsu Kogaku: the Journal of Design, Kyushu University", Bulletin of The Faculty of Design, Kyushu University, have been digitized, and they are available in Kyushu University Institutional Repository (QIR).

"Geijutsu Kogaku: the Journal of Design, Kyushu University" (『芸術工学研究』) was published as a research bulletin of the Faculty of Design, Kyushu University when Kyushu University and the Kyushu Institute of Design were integrated in October 2003. A predecessor journal with the same title, which had been published at the Kyushu Institute of Design by a group of faculty members from 1999, has been relaunched with a new volume. The bulletin publishes a wide variety of interdisciplinary research papers, research notes, works, critiques, research reports, and research materials, mainly related to design.

With this project, we have released 104 items from volume 1 (1999) before the relaunch to volume 12 (2012) after the relaunch as back issues. The list of all 206 published articles from the first issue to the latest issue is as follows:

In the foreword to this memorable first issue, you can read the introductory remarks from Professor Yoshida Susumu, then president of Kyushu Institute of Design. And in the foreword to the second first issue after the relaunch, you can read the two introductory remarks by Professor Sato Haruhiko, the first dean of The Faculty of Design, Kyushu University and Professor Katano Hiroshi, the first chief editor of its former journal before the relaunch. Both of these covers, as well as the other issues, are joint works by Professor Ihara Hisayasu (design) and Associate Professor Katayama Masahito (original illustration).
