1. Eligibility

1. 　Students in the hospital campus
   • 　Undergraduate and graduate students of the School of Medicine, Dentistry, or Pharmaceutical Sciences
   • 　Graduate students of the of Systems Life Sciences based in the Hospital campus
2. 　Faculty and healthcare professionals in the hospital campus
   • 　Professors, Associate Professors, Lecturers, Assistant Professors, and Junior Assistant Professors in the Hospital Area
   • 　Part-time Lecturers, Medical Officers, Residents, and other healthcare professionals in the Hospital Area.

※You cannot use this service if you have overdue items. Please make sure that you have no overdue items before applying.

2. How to Apply and Start Using

Applications are currently closed.
Applications for the next academic year will open on April 1, 2026(Wed). (This page will be updated on April 1.)

Please note that 24 hours opening will be unavailable during the following period.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
・Suspension Period: February 27, 2026 (Fri) 21:00 - May 7, 2026 (Thu) 9:00

3. Period of Use

The period of use is valid until the end of February of the academic year in which you applied. To continue using 24 hours opening in the next academic year, please reapply via this form after April.
※In case your student ID card is reissued, reapplication is required even within the same academic year.

How to Reapply　*The application period for FY2026 will start on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

• For Students：Please apply via the application form above, as you did for your initial application (see "2. How to Apply and Start Using").
• For Faculty and Staff：Please come to the Medical Library counter on weekdays between 9:00 and 16:30 with your IC staff ID Card.

4. Hours of Use

Weekdays: 21:00 – until the next day's opening time
Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays: 17:00 – until the next day's opening time

24 hours opening is unavailable during the period below.
・University's summer closure: service is suspended from the closing time on the day before the closure until the opening time after the closure ends.
・Spring Holidays: from beginning of March to the end of Golden Week (in early May)
・Temporary suspension days (announced via bulletin boards etc.)

5. Available Areas

1F : Browsing Room (for meals and breaks only)・Active Learning Room・2F ＆3F: Study and Reading Room (quiet zone; conversation prohibited)

　　　※Rooms may be limited at certain times of the year.
　　　※Only the Browsing Room on the 1st floor is available for meals.
　　　※Browsing rooms are for meals and breaks only, not for study.
　　　※Conversation is allowed only in the Browsing Room and Active Learning Room.
　　　※Books and journals cannot be checked out. Please return materials to the shelves or complete the checkout procedure beforehand.

6. How to Enter and Exit

To enter or exit, hold your IC card over the reader at the automatic door on the right side of the entrance.
Please be sure to enter using your own card.

★7. Important Notes

1. Do not bring anyone who has not applied to this service.
2. Taking library materials out without checkout procedure is strictly prohibited.
3. Smoking inside the library and eating in study areas are prohibited.
4. Do not leave your belongings unattended.
5. Please turn off air conditioners, fans and PCs after use. Please close windows you open before leaving.
6. When you damage or soil any library facilities or equipment, please notify the library staff the next day.
7. Security cameras are installed to maintain public safety.
8. Violations of the rules may result in suspension of access privileges.
