The Kyushu University Institutional Repository (QIR) has been revamped with a redesigned deposit application form, making it easier than ever to register your research outputs.

QIR is a platform that supports Kyushu University researchers in sharing their work, and make it more accessible and useful. In addition to publishing bulletins and doctoral dissertations, researchers can also make their journal articles openly accessible by depositing the author’s accepted manuscript (post-peer review version). Research data and underlying data for articles can also be deposited. We encourage you to make use of open access to contribute to scholarship and society.

New Features

Integration with researchmap
You can now easily deposit articles using publication data registered in researchmap.
You can select articles that are not yet open access and make them publicly available by uploading the full-text file.
DOI Support
By entering a DOI (Digital Object Identifier), metadata such as title and author name can be automatically filled in.
You can also apply for a DOI to be assigned to research outputs published within the university during the deposit process.
Assigning a DOI improves discoverability and encourages citation of your work.
Authorized Assistant Application
Please designate an authorized assistant. This will allow the assistant to submit deposit applications for articles on behalf of researchers with demanding schedules.
Research Data
Just like articles, research data can now be submitted via web forms.
A DOI can be assigned to the research data, which can then be cited in your manuscripts.

How to Use

You can access the deposit application form from the following URL.
This service is available to faculty members and graduate students with an SSO-KID.

To use the researchmap integration feature, please check your researchmap Member ID (10 alphanumeric characters) and register it on your My Page in advance. The article information will become available in the application form starting from the following day.
