This collection, owned by Nishimatsu Gakusha University, consists of manuscripts, drafts, creative notes and memos of Yokomizo Seishi (1902-1981), scenarios of his works made into films, and clippings from magazines and monographs with his own additions and corrections.
This collection is important not only for understanding Yokomizo's literary works, but also in the fields of modern literature, film and video, media, and the history of publishing culture.
The collection is included in J-DAC's "Collection of Manuscript Written by Modern Literature Writers Online" and can be cross-searched with autographs of other modern literature writers.
