For Asahi Shimbun pages from November 2005 onward, clipping images are available.
AERA is searchable from its May 1988 inaugural issue, and the news pages of Weekly Asahi are searchable from April 2000.

3. Asahi Shimbun Compact Edition: Regional Pages from Across Japan
Includes images of the regional pages published by the Asahi Shimbun for each prefecture.

A biographical encyclopedia featuring approximately 35,000 individuals, primarily experts from various fields, including business leaders and researchers.

Contains approximately 10,000 photographs, primarily from the period around the Manchurian Incident through Japan's defeat in World War II.
Photographs and images are tagged with bibliographic information, enabling search and viewing not only by keyword but also by classification, location, and chronology.
8. Asahi Graph
Digitally preserves color images of magazine pages from its founding in 1923 (Taisho 12) through 1956 (Showa 31).
This allows users to examine the social conditions and customs from the late Taisho era through the pre-war and wartime Showa periods using visual historical materials.
9. English-language News Database
This database includes news articles from the "ASAHI Section" of the English-language newspaper "International Herald Tribune / The Asahi Shimbun (Herald Asahi)" published by The Asahi Shimbun, and articles from "AJW (Asia & Japan Watch)", currently an English-language comprehensive news site. Text articles from April 2001 onwards are searchable.
