Announcement

The University Library is currently providing an Article Processing Charge (APC) support program, under which authors can publish their articles as Open Access for a fixed fee of 100,000 JPY when submitting to three publishers covered by transformative agreements.
As part of this program, APC support has also been provided for Wiley journals. However, due to a rapid increase in submissions to Wiley’s Full Open Access journals, the OA publishing quota for 2026 was fully used up of the end of May.
In light of this situation, we regret to inform you that APC support for Wiley’s Full Open Access journals will be discontinued as follows:

■ Handling of Wiley Full Open Access Journals (2026)

Manuscripts submitted on or before June 10, 2026 (Wed)
　→ Eligible for APC support (author pays 100,000 JPY)

Manuscripts submitted on or after June 11, 2026 (Thu)
　→ Not eligible for support (authors are responsible for the full APC)

※Until the end of June, a message will be displayed at the time of submission indicating that APC support is available for authors affiliated with our university; however, please note that submissions made on certain dates may not be eligible for support.

■ APC Support for Other Journals

The following journals are still eligible for APC support, and quotas are currently available:
・Wiley hybrid journals
・Elsevier hybrid journals
・Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) hybrid journals
Please refer to the APC support information for further details.

However, please note that the number of articles eligible for support is limited, and the program may be terminated depending on future usage.
We will also announce the details of the 2027 program as soon as they are finalized.
