Survey on Database Subscriptions (until June 11, 2026)

The University Library is currently reviewing the databases subscribed to with university-wide funding, in response to recent price increases and changes in search behavior.

As part of this review, we are conducting a survey with the following objectives:

  • To understand usage of the citation databases Web of Science and Scopus
  • To assess usage of the chemistry database SciFinder and compare its functions with the similar database Reaxys（Target：SciFinder users）
    ※A Reaxys trial is currently underway for the purpose of functional comparison with SciFinder.

Your responses will serve as important data in determining subscription policies from 2028 onward. We greatly appreciate your cooperation.

Target: Faculty, researchers, and doctoral students affiliated with the university
Survey Period: Thursday, May 21, 2026 – Thursday, June 11, 2026
