Announcement

On April 14, 2026, Kyushu University Institutional Repository (QIR) marked the 20th anniversary of its launch.

QIR is a service that collects, curates, preserves, and makes publicly accessible—via the Internet—the scholarly works (“knowledge”) created at Kyushu University by its faculty members and graduate students, including emeritus faculty and former affiliates. 
A wide range of content can be deposited, including journal articles, technical papers, bulletin papers, theses and dissertations, and research data. More than 70,000 items have been made publicly accessible to date.

To commemorate this milestone, we are launching a 20th‑anniversary campaign to further encourage deposits to and use of QIR. Details will be posted periodically on the QIR 20th Anniversary Web Page below.
