[Medical Library] Exhibition : Old Medical Graphics

Kyushu University Medical Library holds a collection of over 7,000 valuable old medical materials, many of which illustrate the structure of human body, disease cases, and their treatments through diagrams and drawings.

Exhibition “Old Medical Graphics” displays over 20 historical materials.
It traces how medical predecessors struggled to convey the structure of human body, disease cases, and treatment methods in ages without photography or video, based on these invaluable illustrated documents.

Through this exhibition, we hope you feel the path predecessors took in their efforts to pass on knowledge about the medical science.
